Mass and celebration at St. Margaret's, July 28, 2013

Due to inclement weather  the largely attended mass was celebrated in St Margaret's Church.
Mass was celebrated by Fr. Gregg Tottle of Florida, the co-celebrant was a friend (a Monseigneur, who was also from Florida).

After the mass service, a wonderful lunch was provided at the Parish Hall.  After lunch was concluded, a drawing took place for a beautiful painting that had been donated by Ruth (nee Macintyre) O’Connell; Ruth spends her summers in the East Point area and produces many works of art. The winner of the drawing was Joanne Petrunik of New Jersey.

This event was our annual fundraiser to help with on-going maintenance at the Pioneer Cemetery.  Overall proceeds from the lottery and Church Collection totalled $729.00.  We wish to express our thanks and appreciation  to everyone who donated and helped in anyway.

Have a great summer!
