In early October 2010, over two afternoons, one quite nice, and one miserable and blustery, we took photos of every tombstone in the cemetery. Having seen these stones in their original condition, it is truly amazing to see the current condition of the cemetery. A phenomenal job has been done restoring the stones that were already in the cemetery, and piecing together the fragments of broken stones that were scattered and buried throughout the site. More work on the cemetery is planned, but the bulk of the stones are believed to have been restored. Some fragments of stones remain, as you will see in the photo gallery, however, so additional stones could potentially be restored in 2011.
